Wow that looks like a really cool bonus for Abers... I don't AB myself, but I think it would be cool if their titles would increase their cap, it just seems proper, especially when Balthazar related titles have it.

Wait times have nothing to do with 'server limitations'. You need 3 teams of Kurzicks matched against 3 teams of Luxons. So what happens if more Kurzick teams hit "enter mission" than Luxon? Think about it.

This Alliance Battle weekend has to be a precursor to the Mid-June Super Update, if the designers thought "Hmm, people aren't getting enough Faction in AB, let's make it more!"

Maybe they'll fix AB in the update...

I like the change to the weekend event. This will definatly make leeching very useless since your team will probably lose and you'll miss out on the 2000 faction boost. This is actually 1 of the smartest things Anet have done for quite a while now, i hope the 'mid june update' will follow on.
Was that the match with 10 assassins on 12 luxon players? that just wasn't funny anymore, especially since we had a monk along that was relatively new to monking.

Luxon paper shredders FTL :P

Holy crap... I think I had that guy on my team a couple times! (Were you Luxon?)

Highly unimpressive.

Hey... did you happen to see Canus Specificus in there?

Wow, I gotta admit that I'm looking forward to this event. It would be interesting to see if the next big skill update will come before the weekend to let people try out the new skill tweaks in battle there.

Would be nice if they raised the faction cap. At least for title owners. Every 2 wins everyone will be leaving to spend faction. But a nice bonus yes. Not a complaint post >.<

What was the reason why they stopped putting these event announcements on the front page of Guildwars.com?

That was one of the reasons why I subscribed to that RSS feed.

I can't bring myself to dump faction into my guild, since we're not in a FF Alliance. No payout other than a title doesn't quite motivate me... >_<

Something which annoyed me as well. I love to get these event notices through the RSS feeds, but the last month or two it seems they stopped doing exactly that.
